What is Eyebrow Transplant? How is it done?
It is an application similar to hair transplantation. It is the process of transplanting the hair follicles of suitable thickness taken from the back of the head to the eyebrow area by drawing as desired.

Before transplantation, an eyebrow drawing is made with a pencil in the shape and thickness that the person wants. The donor area where the hair follicle will be taken and the eyebrow area to be transplanted are numbed with local anesthesia. Eyebrow transplantation is done with the DHI method in the same way as hair transplantation, with very fine-tipped medical pens called choi pen.

The donor area can usually be the nape of the neck due to the suitability of the hair structure, or it can be selected from the scattered hair follicles around the eyebrow. The hair follicles taken with the DHI method are placed one by one at the right angles to the eyebrow area to be transplanted. These angles are important for the eyebrows to rise at the correct slope, not straight. Since the procedure is performed with local anesthesia, there is no pain or pain during the procedure. After the procedure, the person can continue his daily life.

After the eyebrow transplantation process, which is completed in a single session for an average of 2 hours, the area should not be washed, wetted and cosmetic materials should be avoided for a while. After recovery, cosmetic products can be used for eyebrows.

Transplanted eyebrows may weaken and fall out in the days after the procedure; however, it will start to grow again permanently in an average of 5-8 months. Since the hair roots are taken from the nape area, they are prone to elongation. For this reason, the eyebrows should be shortened for a certain period of time.
